Adventure in Deluxe Camp Manali
Swiss tent with double bed, attached bath room with Valley and Pine view from sitting area. Deluxe cottage tent has 14' x12' room, 5' x 6' dressing room, 14' x4' veranda including mosquito net and ground sheet. The Hill Safari Tents have 8' x 5.5' area. Mess Tent has dining room sizing 15' x 25' x 10'. Bedrolls and sleeping bags/quilts are provided in units.

Here; we would like to take the liberty to introduce ourselves as one of the most organized group of professionals in the fields of promotion of Adventure Activities.

We organize 8 days adventure camp including Rock – climbing, rappelling, River crossing and trekking in and around Manali for students of various schools / colleges and professional groups etc. during May/ June every year. Which are conducted by the most experienced and qualified instructor in Manali. The   tariff is around Rs 4600 / for eight days. This includes food. Stay in tents, training after the participants’ reports at our camp in Manali (excluding transportation charges). One escort/teacher will be allowed free of cost for a group of fifteen students to monitor their groups.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Manali and transfer to Solang by car / jeep breakfast, and free time till lunch after lunch short walk around Solang.

Day 2: Rock climbing and rappelling.                                                  
Type of rock climbing:

  • Natural  or  Free  climbing :  When climber climb’s  a  rock without the  help of  any required  equipment  using  natural hold called  natural  rock  climbing.  
  • Artificial  climbing : During the climbing if  climber  found that rock  is difficult  in  that case  he requires   technical  equipment therefore climbing a rock  with  the  help of technical equipment is  called  artificial climbing .
  • Rappelling : When the  rock is  difficult to climb down due to steepness , wetness or  some other reason ,  rappelling  is  the best  way  to climb down . rappelling  or  abseiling  or  roping  down as it  is  most commonly called, it is a  quick method  of  descending  over a steep face of  rock , snow  or ice by sliding   down a  fix single or  double  rope  anchored  on top .

Day 3: Trek to Dundhi or Beas Kund back to Solang.                                                                   
Explore village life. The trek today will go through several villages, apple orchards and cultivated fields. You will visit Hindu temples and see ancient architecture. Reach Solang Valley, winter skis resort as well as summer paradise, in the afternoon, overnight at camp.

Day 4: River crossing.

While trekking  in the mountains, one  have  to  cross several streams , To  cross these  streams one should have good knowledge about how to cross mountain streams ? Crossing these streams / rivers with technique and full safety is known as river crossing. 

Day 5: Excursion in Rohtang Pass.                                                                                                    
Drive to snow point (Rohtang pass if road is open)   Transportation by Tata sumo or Bus, 51 kms drive to Rohtang pass where you can do Snow Activities on your own, evening back to Camp.  

Day 6: Departure.                                                                                                                          
Morning free to explore on your own, afternoon transfer to bus stand for onward destination

On arrival in Manali you will be met by our representative and will escort you to hotel, afternoon half day sightseeing.

  • Hadimba Devi Temple
  • Tibetan Monastery – Buddha images, Tankha paintings
  • Vashisht Village – Temple and hot spring overnight at hotel.

Day 2:  Manali to Rohtang Pass (3970m) option for Skiiing & Paragliding
Full day excursion to Rohtang Pass 51 kms from Manali and gateway to ancient trading routes and the legendary valleys of Lahaul and Spiti, on the way Visit Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley. If Rohtang is closed due to snow, the excursion will be till the snow line, evening at leisure.

Day 3:  Manali – Manikarn –Manali (170 kms) Option for Rafting
Full day excursion to Manikaran, the world’s hottest sulphur spring water and a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindu and Sikh, on the way back visit Vaishno Devi Temple & traditional kullu shawl weavers near kullu town, overnight at hotel in manali

Day 4:  Manali to Delhi Volvo bus. Option for Rafting.
Day at leisure evening transfer to bus station to board bus for onward destination
